Our person of the month for October 2020 is Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, Managing Director of Accra the Accra Digital Centre under the Ministry of Communications.He was appointed the first MD of the fast-growing digital center in 2017 and has since led the outfit through some impressive transformations.
The centre has trained thousands of young Ghanaians in IT solutions, and nurtured hundreds of digital startups through various partnerships with tech companies such as Oracle.
Kofi’s commitment and dedication to the growth and development of the Ghanaian youth has earned him the nickname “Foot Soldiers’ President”, a name that depicts his affability and simplicity in leadership.
In 2019, the young Managing Director received the International Telecommunication Union – ITU’s Global Ecosystem Best Practice Award in Budapest, Hungary.For his humility, servant leadership, and inspiring hope among the Ghanaian youth, we honor him as our person of the month.
