Bishop Dr. Adonteng Boateng is the founder of Divine Word International Ministries, Virginia. He founded the Fairfax Police Department’s (PD) Faithful Servants of America Awards. This awards ceremony began in Virginia when the Bishop appreciated the Fairfax County PD. The Faithful Servant Awards scheme is aimed at rewarding national and state officers who show exemplary, bravely, and sheer bravado in their duties, to bring protection and safety to the citizenry in America and other parts of the world.
Bishop Dr. Adonteng through this has helped in developing ethical institutions by supporting the law enforcement communities in the U.S. and Ghana. He honored the Inspector General of Police (IGP), David Asante Appeatu in 2019 for fostering and nurturing an environment of honesty and integrity in the Ghana Police force and an Officer of the Tesano MTID, Sergeant Felix Teye, for refusing to accept a bribe from a commercial driver who had committed a traffic offense.
The third Annual Faithful Servant American Awards in March 2021, focused on honoring families of fallen state officers as well as frontline workers in the fight against the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Bishop Kofi Adonteng Boateng, an Accra Academy alumni, is well noted for his benevolence and philanthropic activities, offering financial support to the students and alumni community of the Accra Academy and supporting other families going through hardship.
In March 2021 Bishop Dr. Adonteng Boateng was presented an Eagle Award for his support and dedication to community service.
SIA-Africa is awarding Bishop Dr. Adonteng Boateng the Person of the Month Award of the third month of the year, March 2021 for his exceptional and well-dedicated service to humanity.
