Vusi Thembekwayo, South Africa’s young millionaire who has the aspiration of becoming a billionaire, is the true definition of a business emperor.
The startups we see today have nothing on Thembekwayo as in his 38 years of living he has established multiple entrepreneurship across Africa, and abroad, collecting the titles of: business mentor, keynote speaker, award winning entrepreneur, and a best selling author. His income is sourced from a variety of jobs, starting with his podcast, Ideas that Matter, and his other business ventures like Club 100.
Though some may take this zeal for business as a self-centered front, that is not true for Thembekwayo. While, yes, it does benefit him and his earnings, his main source of money is his business advice to his clients, which have been said to reroute their thinking for the better, changing the business industries in Africa- and the world- as a whole.
To illustrate, as the founder and CEO of the MyGrowthFund Venture Partners, he helps to place an emphasis on the inclusivity and accessibility of healthcare- but in the digital realm. This way he is killing two birds with one stone- promoting digital education, and helping to alleviate an ongoing problem. He helps to open up pathways that may have not been paved before for these future investors and present partners, helping to grow the business stage in sub-saharan Africa mainly (but also known for his work in the Middle East, and some western cities).
Keeping all this in mind, it is good to know that he has aided in advising around 500 companies in their business ventures, which in turn helped him to be on the face of the Entrepreneur magazine as the youngest, and one of the richest, African entrepreneurs.
