Achiaa Kusi Dapaah is a Petroleum Engineer, Conference Speaker and an Author. An alumnus of KNUST (Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology), she held several leadership positions in different groups on campus while mentoring other students.
Her passion for mentoring and raising others led her to establish ImpactiNation, a non-profit organization that seeks to provide alternate solutions to educational gaps through mentorship and effective personal development training. ImpactiNation has chapters called Galaxies in most universities in Ghana. Her inspiration stems from the saying “Go where the need is greatest and help the smallest”.
Through her interest in Energy Policy, Achiaa worked in Africa Centre for Energy Policy (ACEP) as a Research Assistant and later joined Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) where she is currently a Petroleum Production Engineer.
As the founder and Executive Director of ImpactiNation, she nurtures tertiary students and the youth through conferences, boot camps and via personal engagements. Her passion to leave a positive impact on society is unparalleled. Achiaa’s future goal is to mentor more young girls in the STEM space to address energy challenges and find solutions to bridge the gap in the engineering gender divide.
We award Achiaa Kusi Dapaah as our Person of the Month for April 2022 for being an inspiring STEM leader and mentor to the young generation.
