Edward Asare is a Digital Marketer at UBA Ghana Limited, Publicist, Blogger, and Social Media Influencer. Born in Dawatrim-Asesewa in the Eastern Region of Ghana which is best known for its engagement in farming, Edward’s story truly embodies the role of perseverance and family support in achieving success. He was devoted to his educational endeavors, attended Accra Academy Senior High School, and then advanced to obtain his BA in Economics/Information Studies and MBA in Marketing from the University of Ghana.
His recreational interest in social media ushered him to his first role as a social media manager at TV3 - a Ghanaian television network. He managed multiple social media accounts to many individuals and developed through those experiences. Edward has worked with Genesis International Ltd, Glofert Ghana, Peduase Valley Resort, Media General Ltd, Ankobrah Beach Resort, Redpear, and Yen.com.gh.
Edward has won Digital Influencer of the Year (2020) and Digital Marketing Professional of the Year (2021) for the Ghana Youth Excellence Awards and National Communication Awards respectively. He was also given an Honoree award by Humanitarian Awards Global and other notable mentions. Edward hopes to be an inspiration for the youth in recognizing their goals through social media and has been a panelist at Women Empowerment Summit, Bloggers Summit, and Ashesi D Lab volunteers with the You At Heart Foundation and serves on the Board at Educational Communities.
